As Southampton is a port, many immigrants have found it the perfect place to start a new life making it a multicultural city with many different people. Although Southampton has fewer immigrants than London or Birmingham, just under 8 percent of the city's population come from different ethnic communities. This project has given us the opportunity to speak to first and second-generation immigrants about their experiences. |
